LEB translation
12:14 And it happened that as Abram came into Egypt, the Egyptians saw the woman, that she was very beautiful.
12:15 And the officials of Pharaoh saw her, and they praised her beauty to Pharaoh. And the woman was taken to the house of Pharaoh.
12:16 And he dealt well with Abram on account of her, and he had sheep, cattle, male donkeys, male servants, female servants, female donkeys, and camels.
12:17 Then Yahweh afflicted Pharaoh and his household with severe plagues on account of the matter of Sarai the wife of Abram.
12:18 Then Pharaoh called for Abram and said, “What is this you have done to me? Why did you not tell me that she was your wife?
12:19 Why did you say ‘She is my sister,’ so that I took her to myself as a wife? Now then, here is your wife. Take her and go.”
12:20 And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him, and then sent him and his wife and all that was with him away.
13:1 The Parting of Abram and Lot
Then Abram went up from Egypt, he and his wife and all that was with him. And Lot went with him to the Negev.
13:2 Now Abram was very wealthy in livestock, in silver, and in gold.
13:3 And he went according to his journey from the Negev, then to Bethel, to the place where his tent was at the beginning, between Bethel and Ai,
13:4 to the place where he had made an altar at the beginning. And Abram called on the name of Yahweh there.

Gospel — John 5:1 - 5:13
LEB translation
5:1 A Paralytic Is Healed
After these things there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
5:2 Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool called in Aramaic Bethzatha, which has five porticoes.
5:3 In these were lying a large number of those who were sick, blind, lame, paralyzed.
5:4 Verse text not available.
5:5 And a certain man was there who had been thirty-eight years in his sickness.
5:6 Jesus, when he saw this one lying there and knew that he had been sick a long time already, said to him, “Do you want to become well?”
5:7 The one who was sick answered him, “Sir, I do not have anyone that, whenever the water is stirred up, could put me into the pool. But while I am coming, another goes down before me.”
5:8 Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk!”
5:9 And immediately the man became well and picked up his mat and began to walk. (Now it was the Sabbath on that day.)
5:10 So the Jews were saying to the one who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not permitted for you to pick up the mat!”
5:11 But he answered them, “The one who made me well—that one said to me, ‘Pick up your mat and walk!’”
5:12 So they asked him, “Who is the man who said to you, ‘Pick up your mat and walk?’”
5:13 But the one who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had withdrawn while a crowd was in the place.
