Exodus 25:17 - 25:30
25:17 “And you will make an atonement cover of pure gold, two and a half cubits its length and a cubit and a half its width.
25:18 And you will make two cherubim of gold; you will make them of hammered work at the two ends of the atonement cover.
25:19 And make one cherub at one end and one cherub at the other end of the atonement cover; you will make the cherubim on its two ends.
25:20 And the cherubim will be with outspread wings above, covering with their wings over the atonement cover and facing each other; the faces of the cherubim will be toward the atonement cover.
25:21 And you will put the atonement cover above onto the ark, and into the ark you will put the testimony that I will give you.
25:22 And I will meet you there, and I will speak with you from over the atonement cover, from between the two cherubim that are to be on the ark of the testimony—all that I will command you to the Israelites.
25:23 Instructions for Making a Table and a Lampstand
“And you will make a table of acacia wood, two cubits its length and a cubit its width and a cubit and a half its height.
25:24 And you will overlay it with pure gold, and you will make for it a gold molding all around.
25:25 And you will make for it a handbreadth rim all around, and you will make a gold molding for its rim all around.
25:26 And you will make four gold rings for it, and you will put the rings on the four corners where its four legs are.
25:27 The rings will be near the rim as holders for poles to carry the table.
25:28 And you will make the poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, and the table will be carried with them.
25:29 And you will make its plates and its ladles and its pitchers and its bowls with which libations will be poured; of pure gold you will make them.
25:30 And you will put on the table the bread of presence to be before me continually.

25:18 “Make two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover.
25:19 Put one cherub on each end of it. Make the cherubim as part of the cover itself.
25:20 The cherubim must have their wings spread up over the cover. The cherubim must face each other and look toward the cover.
25:21 “Place the cover on top of the chest. I will give you the tablets of the covenant. Put them into the chest.
25:22 “The chest is the ark where the tablets of the covenant are kept. I will meet with you above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark. There I will give you all of my commands for the people of Israel.

Gospel — Mark 10:1 - 10:12
LEB translation
Mark 10:1 - 10:12
10:1 On Divorce
And from there he set out and came to the region of Judea and the other side of the Jordan, and again crowds came together to him. And again, as he was accustomed to do, he began to teach them.
10:2 And they asked him if it was permitted for a man to divorce his wife, in order to test him.
10:3 And he answered and said to them, “What did Moses command you?”
10:4 So they said, “Moses permitted a man to write a certificate of divorce and to send her away.”
10:5 But Jesus said to them, “He wrote this commandment for you because of your hardness of heart.
10:6 But from the beginning of creation ‘he made them male and female.
10:7 Because of this a man will leave his father and mother and will be joined to his wife,
10:8 and the two will become one flesh,’ so that they are no longer two but one flesh.
10:9 Therefore what God has joined together, man must not separate.”
10:10 And in the house again the disciples began to ask him about this.
10:11 And he said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery against her.
10:12 And if she divorces her husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
NIRV translation
Mark 10:1 - 10:12
10:1 Jesus Teaches About Divorce
Jesus left that place and went into the area of Judea and across the Jordan River. Again crowds of people came to him. As usual, he taught them.
10:2 Some Pharisees came to put him to the test. They asked, “Does the Law allow a man to divorce his wife?”
10:3 “What did Moses command you?” he replied.
10:4 They said, “Moses allowed a man to write a letter of divorce and send her away.”
10:5 “You were stubborn. That’s why Moses wrote you this law,” Jesus replied.
10:6 “But at the beginning of creation, God ‘made them male and female.’ ()
10:7 ‘That’s why a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife.
10:8 The two of them will become one.’ () They are no longer two, but one.
10:9 So a man must not separate what God has joined together.”
10:10 When they were in the house again, the disciples asked Jesus about this.
10:11 He answered, “What if a man divorces his wife and gets married to another woman? He commits adultery against her.
10:12 And what if she divorces her husband and gets married to another man? She commits adultery.”
