Deuteronomy 30:7 - 30:10
30:7 And Yahweh your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, on those who harassed you.
30:8 And you will again listen to the voice of Yahweh, and you will do all his commandments that I am commanding you today.
30:9 And Yahweh your God will make you prosperous in all your undertakings, and in the fruit of your livestock and in the fruit of your ground abundantly, for Yahweh will again rejoice over you, just as he rejoiced over your ancestors.
30:10 He will do this if you listen to the voice of Yahweh your God by keeping his commandment and his statutes written in the scroll of this law and if you return to Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your inner self.
30:11 “For this commandment that I am commanding you today is not too wonderful for you, and it is not too far from you.
30:12 It is not in the heavens so that you might say, ‘Who will go up for us to the heavens and get it for us and cause us to hear it, so that we may do it?’
30:13 And it is not beyond the sea, so that you might say, ‘Who will cross for us to the other side of the sea and take it for us and cause us to hear it, so that we may do it?’
30:14 But the word is very near you, even in your mouth and in your heart, so that you may do it.
NIRV translation
Deuteronomy 30:7 - 30:10
30:7 The Lord your God will put all of those curses on your enemies. They hated you and hunted you down.
30:8 You will obey the Lord again. You will follow all of his commands that I’m giving you today.
30:9 Then the Lord your God will give you great success in everything you do. You will have many children. Your livestock will have many little ones. Your crops will do very well. The Lord will take delight in you again. He’ll give you success. That’s what he did for your people long ago.
30:10 But you must obey the Lord your God. You must keep his commands and rules. They are written in this Scroll of the Law. You must turn to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
30:11 Choose Life
What I’m commanding you today is not too hard for you. It isn’t beyond your reach.
30:12 It isn’t up in heaven. So you don’t have to ask, “Who will go up into heaven to get it? Who will announce it to us so we can obey it?”
30:13 And it isn’t beyond the ocean. So you don’t have to ask, “Who will go across the ocean to get it? Who will announce it to us so we can obey it?”
30:14 No, the message isn’t far away at all. In fact, it’s really near you. It’s in your mouth and in your heart so that you can obey it.

Gospel — Acts 20:32 - 20:38;Acts 21:1 - 21:6
LEB translation
Acts 20:32 - 20:38
20:32 “And now I entrust you to God and to the message of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
20:33 I have desired no one’s silver or gold or clothing!
20:34 You yourselves know that these hands served to meet my needs and the needs of those who were with me.
20:35 I have shown you with respect to all things that by working hard in this way it is necessary to help those who are in need, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus that he himself said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
20:36 And when he had said these things, he fell to his knees and prayed with them all.
20:37 And there was considerable weeping by all, and hugging Paul, they kissed him,
20:38 especially distressed at the statement that he had said, that they were going to see his face no more. And they accompanied him to the ship.
21:1 Paul Travels on to Jerusalem
And it happened that after we tore ourselves away from them, we put out to sea, and running a straight course we came to Cos and on the next day to Rhodes, and from there to Patara.
21:2 And finding a ship that was crossing over to Phoenicia, we went aboard and put out to sea.
21:3 And after we sighted Cyprus and left it behind on the port side, we sailed to Syria and arrived at Tyre, because the ship was to unload its cargo there.
21:4 And we stayed there seven days after we found the disciples, who kept telling Paul through the Spirit not to set foot in Jerusalem.
21:5 And it happened that when our days were over, we departed and went on our way, while all of them accompanied us, together with their wives and children, as far as outside the city. And after falling to our knees on the beach and praying,
21:6 we said farewell to one another and embarked in the ship, and they returned to their own homes.
NIRV translation
Acts 20:32 - 20:38
20:32 “Now I commit you to God’s care. I commit you to the word of his grace. It can build you up. Then you will share in what God plans to give all his people.
20:33 I haven’t longed for anyone’s silver or gold or clothing.
20:34 You yourselves know that I have used my own hands to meet my needs. I have also met the needs of my companions.
20:35 In everything I did, I showed you that we must work hard and help the weak. We must remember the words of the Lord Jesus. He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
20:36 When Paul had said this, he got down on his knees with all of them and prayed.
20:37 They all cried as they hugged and kissed him.
20:38 What hurt them the most was that he had said they would never see his face again. Then they went with him to the ship.
21:1 Paul Continues His Journey
After we had torn ourselves away from the Ephesian elders, we headed out to sea. We sailed straight to Cos. The next day we went to Rhodes. From there we continued on to Patara.
21:2 We found a ship crossing over to Phoenicia. So we went on board and headed out to sea.
21:3 We came near Cyprus and passed to the south of it. Then we sailed on to Syria. We landed at Tyre. There our ship was supposed to unload.
21:4 We found the believers there and stayed with them for seven days. Led by the Holy Spirit, they tried to get Paul not to go on to Jerusalem.
21:5 But when it was time to leave, we continued on our way. All the believers and their families went with us out of the city. There on the beach we got down on our knees to pray.
21:6 We said good-by to each other. Then we went on board the ship. And they returned home.
