LEB translation
32:7 Remember the old days, the years long past;
ask your father, and he will inform you,
your elders and they will tell you.
32:8 When the Most High apportioned the nations,
at his dividing up of the sons of humankind,
he fixed the boundaries of the peoples,
according to the number of the children of Israel.
32:9 For Yahweh’s portion was his people,
Jacob the share of his inheritance.
32:10 He found him in a desert land,
and in a howling, desert wasteland;
he encircled him, he cared for him,
he protected him like the apple of his eye.
32:11 As an eagle stirs up its nest,
hovers over its young,
spreads out its wings, takes them,
carries them on its pinions,
32:12 so Yahweh alone guided him,
and there was no foreign god accompanying him.

Gospel — Acts 24:1 - 24:9
LEB translation
24:1 Paul Before Felix at Caesarea Maritima
And after five days the high priest Ananias came down with some elders and an attorney, a certain Tertullus, all of whom brought charges against Paul to the governor.
24:2 And when he had been summoned, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, “We have experienced much peace through you, and reforms are taking place in this nation through your foresight.
24:3 Both in every way and everywhere we acknowledge this, most excellent Felix, with all gratitude.
24:4 But so that I may not impose on you for longer, I implore you to hear us briefly with your customary graciousness.
24:5 For we have found this man to be a public menace and one who causes riots among all the Jews throughout the Roman Empire and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes,
24:6 who even attempted to desecrate the temple, and we arrested him.
24:7 Verse text not available.
24:8 When you yourself examine him you will be able to find out from him about all these things of which we are accusing him.”
24:9 And the Jews also joined in the attack, asserting these things were so.
