Numbers 21:10 - 21:20
21:10 The Israelites set out and encamped at Oboth.
21:11 They set out from Oboth and encamped at Iye Abarim in the desert, which was in front of Moab toward the sunrise.
21:12 From there they set out and encamped at the valley of Zered.
21:13 From there they set out and encamped beyond Arnon, which is in the desert that goes out from the boundary of the Amorites, because Arnon is the boundary of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.
21:14 Therefore thus it is said in the scroll of the Wars of Yahweh,
“Waheb in Suphah,
and the wadis of Arnon,
21:15 and the slope of the wadis
that spreads out to the dwelling of Ar
and lies at the boundary of Moab.”
21:16 From there they went to Beer, which is the water well where Yahweh spoke to Moses, “Gather the people, that I may give them water.”
21:17 Then Israel sang this song, “Arise, well water! Sing to it!
21:18 Well water that the princes dug, that the leaders of the people dug, with a staff and with their rods.” And from the desert they continued to Mattanah,
21:19 and from Mattanah to Nahaliel, and from Nahaliel to Bamoth;
21:20 and from Bamoth to the valley that is in the territory of Moab, by the top of Pisgah, which overlooks the surface of the wasteland.

Numbers 21:10 - 21:20
21:10 The People Continue On to Moab
The people of Israel moved on. They camped at Oboth.
21:11 Then they started out from Oboth. They camped in Iye Abarim. It’s in the desert on the eastern border of Moab.
21:12 From there they moved on. They camped in the Zered Valley.
21:13 They started out from there and camped by the Arnon River. It’s in the desert that spreads out into the territory of the Amorites. The Arnon is the border of Moab. It’s between Moab and the Amorites.
21:14 Here is what the Book of the Wars of the Lord says about it. It says,
“Sing about Waheb in Suphah and the valleys.
Sing about the Arnon
21:15 and the slopes of the valleys.
They lead to the place called Ar.
They lie along the border of Moab.”
21:16 From there the people of Israel continued on to Beer. That was the well where the Lord spoke to Moses. He said, “Gather the people together. I will give them water to drink.”
21:17 Then Israel sang a song. They said,
“Spring up, you well!
Sing about it.
21:18 Sing about the well the princes dug.
Sing about the well the nobles of the people dug.
All of their rulers were holding their rods and staffs.”
Then the people of Israel went from the desert to Mattanah.
21:19 They went from Mattanah to Nahaliel. They went from Nahaliel to Bamoth.
21:20 And they went from Bamoth to a valley in Moab. It’s the valley where the highest slopes of Pisgah look out over a dry and empty land.

Gospel — Luke 20:20-26
LEB translation
Luke 20:20-26
20:20 Paying Taxes to Caesar
And they watched him closely and sent spies who pretended they were upright, in order that they could catch him in a statement, so that they could hand him over to the authority and the jurisdiction of the governor.
20:21 And they asked him, saying, “Teacher, we know that you speak and teach rightly, and do not show partiality, but teach the way of God in truth.
20:22 Is it permitted for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
20:23 But seeing through their craftiness, he said to them,
20:24 “Show me a denarius! Whose image and inscription does it have?” And they answered and said, “Caesar’s.”
20:25 So he said to them, “Well then, give to Caesar the things of Caesar, and to God the things of God!”
20:26 And they were not able to catch him in a statement in the sight of the people, and astonished at his answer, they became silent.
NIRV translation
Luke 20:20-26
20:20 Is It Right to Pay Taxes to Caesar?
The religious leaders sent spies to keep a close watch on Jesus. The spies pretended to be honest. They hoped they could trap Jesus with something he would say. Then they could hand him over to the power and authority of the governor.
20:21 So the spies questioned Jesus. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that you speak and teach what is right. We know you don’t favor one person over another. You teach the way of God truthfully.
20:22 Is it right for us to pay taxes to Caesar or not?”
20:23 Jesus saw they were trying to trick him. So he said to them,
20:24 “Show me a silver coin. Whose picture and words are on it?”
20:25 “Caesar’s,” they replied.
He said to them, “Then give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar. And give to God what belongs to God.”
20:26 They were not able to trap him with what he had said there in front of all the people. Amazed by his answer, they became silent.
