Leviticus 23:23-25

23:23 The Feast of Trumpets Then Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
23:24 “Speak to the Israelites, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you must have a rest period, a remembrance of the trumpet blast, a holy assembly.
23:25 You must not do any regular work, and you shall present an offering made by fire to Yahweh.’”

Genesis 7:5-6

7:5 And Noah did according to all that Yahweh commanded him.
7:6 The Flood Noah was six hundred years old when the flood waters came upon the earth.
7:11 In the six hundredth year of the life of Noah, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month—on that day all the springs of the great deep were split open, and the windows of heaven were opened.
8:13 And it happened that, in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first day of the month, the waters dried up from upon the earth. And Noah removed the covering of the ark and looked. And behold, the face of the ground was dried up.

Gospel — Matthew 2:9-11; Matthew 24:29-44; Revelation 12:1-7

LEB translation

Matthew 2:9-11

2:9 After they listened to the king, they went out, and behold, the star which they had seen at its rising led them until it came and stood above the place where the child was.
2:10 Now when they saw the star, they rejoiced with very great joy.
2:11 And when they came into the house, they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. And opening their treasure boxes, they offered him gifts of gold and frankincense and myrrh.
24:29 The Arrival of the Son of Man “And immediately after the tribulation of those days, ‘the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken.’
24:30 And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man arriving on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
24:31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect together from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other end of it.
24:32 The Parable of the Fig Tree “Now learn the parable from the fig tree: Whenever its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near.
24:33 So also you, when you see all these things, know that he is near, at the door.
24:34 Truly I say to you that this generation will never pass away until all these things take place!
24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
24:36 The Unknown Day and Hour “But concerning that day and hour no one knows—not even the angels of heaven nor the Son—except the Father alone.
24:37 For just as the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be.
24:38 For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark.
24:39 And they did not know anything until the deluge came and swept them all away. So also the coming of the Son of Man will be.
24:40 Then there will be two men in the field; one will be taken and one left.
24:41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left.
24:42 Therefore be on the alert, because you do not know what day your Lord is coming!
24:43 But understand this: that if the master of the house had known what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into.
24:44 For this reason you also must be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not think he will come.

Matthew 24:29-44

12:1 The Woman and Her Son Versus the Dragon And a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun and with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars,
12:2 and who was pregnant and was crying out because she was having birth pains, and was in torment to give birth.
12:3 And another sign appeared in heaven, and behold, a great fiery red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven royal headbands.
12:4 And his tail swept away a third of the stars from heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, in order that whenever she gave birth to her child he could devour it.
12:5 And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is going to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod, and her child was snatched away to God and to his throne.
12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she had a place prepared there by God, so that they could feed her there for one thousand two hundred sixty days.
12:7 Satan Thrown Down from Heaven to Earth And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.
