Numbers 28:1 - 28:15
28:1 Daily Sacrifice
Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
28:2 “Command the Israelites and say to them, ‘You will be careful to present my offering, my food of my offerings made by fire, of a fragrance of appeasement to me, at its appointed time.’
28:3 You will say to them, ‘This is the offering made by fire that you will offer to Yahweh: two male lambs without defect in their first year as a continual burnt offering each day.
28:4 You will offer one male lamb in the morning, and the second male lamb you will offer at twilight,
28:5 and a tenth of an ephah of finely milled flour as a grain offering, mixed with a fourth of a measure of beaten oil.
28:6 It is a continual burnt offering that was ordained on Mount Sinai as a fragrance of appeasement, an offering made by fire for Yahweh.
28:7 The libation with it will be a fourth of a liquid measure for each male lamb; in the sanctuary you will pour out the libation of fermented drink for Yahweh.
28:8 And the second male lamb you will offer at twilight; as the grain offering of the morning and as its libation you will offer it, an offering made by fire, a fragrance of appeasement for Yahweh.
28:9 “‘On the day of the Sabbath, two male lambs without defect in their first year, and two-tenths of finely milled flour mixed with oil for a grain offering and its libation.
28:10 This is the burnt offering every Sabbath in addition to the continual burnt offering and its libation.
28:11 “‘And at the beginning of each of your months, you will present a burnt offering for Yahweh: two bulls and one ram, seven male lambs without defect in their first year;
28:12 and three-tenths of finely milled flour mixed with oil for a grain offering, for each bull; and two-tenths of finely milled flour mixed with oil for a grain offering for the one ram;
28:13 and a tenth of finely milled flour mixed with oil as a grain offering for each male lamb, for a burnt offering of a fragrance of appeasement, an offering of fire for Yahweh.
28:14 Their libations will be half a liquid measure of wine for the bull and a third of a liquid measure of wine for the ram and a fourth of a liquid measure of wine for the male lamb; this is the burnt offering for every month for the months of the year.
28:15 And one male goat as a sin offering for Yahweh; it will be offered in addition to the continual burnt offering and its libation.

Numbers 28:1 - 28:15
28:1 Offerings That Israel Must Bring Each Day
The Lord spoke to Moses. He said,
28:2 “Here is a command I want you to give the people of Israel. Tell them, ‘Be sure to bring to the Lord the food for the offerings that are made to him with fire. Do it at the appointed time. It will give a smell that is pleasant to him.’
28:3 “Tell them, ‘Here is the offering you must bring to the Lord. It should be made with fire. Bring him two lambs that are a year old. They must not have any flaws. Bring them as a regular burnt offering each day.
28:4 “‘Prepare one lamb in the morning. Prepare the other when the sun goes down.
28:5 Bring a grain offering along with them. It must have eight cups of fine flour. Mix it with a quart of oil that is made from pressed olives.
28:6 It is the regular burnt offering. The Lord established it at Mount Sinai. It has a pleasant smell. It is an offering that is made to him with fire.
28:7 Along with that, offer a quart of wine as a drink offering. It must be given along with each lamb. Pour out the drink offering to the Lord at the sacred tent.
28:8 “‘Prepare the second lamb when the sun goes down. Sacrifice it along with the same kind of grain offering and drink offering that you prepare in the morning. It is an offering that is made with fire. It gives a smell that is pleasant to the Lord.
28:9 Offerings That Israel Must Bring on the Sabbath Day
“‘On the Sabbath day, bring an offering of two lambs. They must be a year old. They must not have any flaws. Offer them along with their drink offering. Offer them along with a grain offering of 16 cups of fine flour. Mix it with olive oil.
28:10 It is the burnt offering for every Sabbath day. It is in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.
28:11 Offerings That Israel Must Bring Every Month
“‘On the first day of every month, bring to the Lord a burnt offering. Bring two young bulls and one ram. Also bring seven male lambs that are a year old. They must not have any flaws.
28:12 “‘Bring a grain offering along with each bull. It must have 24 cups of fine flour. Mix it with olive oil. Bring a grain offering along with the ram. It must have 16 cups of fine flour. Mix it with oil.
28:13 Bring a grain offering along with each lamb. It must have eight cups of fine flour. Mix it with oil. It is for a burnt offering. It has a pleasant smell. It is an offering that is made to the Lord with fire.
28:14 “‘Bring a drink offering along with each bull. It must have two quarts of wine. Offer two and a half pints along with the ram. And offer one quart along with each lamb.
“‘It is the burnt offering for each month. It must be made on the day of each New Moon Feast during the year.
28:15 “‘One male goat must be brought to the Lord as a sin offering. It is in addition to the regular burnt offering and its drink offering.

Gospel — Luke 22:54-65
LEB translation
Luke 22:54-65
22:54 Jesus Before the Sanhedrin
And they arrested him and led him away and brought him into the house of the high priest. But Peter was following at a distance.
22:55 And when they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.
22:56 And a certain female slave, seeing him sitting in the light and looking intently at him, said, “This man also was with him!”
22:57 But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him!”
22:58 And after a short time another person saw him and said, “You also are one of them!” But Peter said, “Man, I am not!”
22:59 And after about one hour had passed, someone else was insisting, saying, “In truth this man also was with him, because he is also a Galilean!”
22:60 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about!” And immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.
22:61 And the Lord turned around and looked intently at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.”
22:62 And he went outside and wept bitterly.
22:63 And the men who were guarding him began to mock him while they beat him,
22:64 and after blindfolding him they repeatedly asked him, saying, “Prophesy! Who is the one who struck you?”
22:65 And they were saying many other things against him, reviling him.
NIRV translation
Luke 22:54-65
22:54 Peter Says He Does Not Know Jesus
Then the men arrested Jesus and led him away. They took him into the high priest’s house. Peter followed from far away.
22:55 They started a fire in the middle of the courtyard. Then they sat down together. Peter sat down with them.
22:56 A female servant saw him sitting there in the firelight. She looked closely at him. Then she said, “This man was with Jesus.”
22:57 But Peter said he had not been with him. “Woman, I don’t know him,” he said.
22:58 A little later someone else saw Peter. “You also are one of them,” he said.
“No,” Peter replied. “I’m not!”
22:59 About an hour later, another person spoke up. “This fellow must have been with Jesus,” he said. “He is from Galilee.”
22:60 Peter replied, “Man, I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
Just as he was speaking, the rooster crowed.
22:61 The Lord turned and looked right at Peter. Then Peter remembered what the Lord had spoken to him. “The rooster will crow today,” Jesus had said. “Before it does, you will say three times that you don’t know me.”
22:62 Peter went outside. He broke down and sobbed.
22:63 The Guards Make Fun of Jesus
There were men guarding Jesus. They began laughing at him and beating him.
22:64 They blindfolded him. They said, “Prophesy! Who hit you?”
22:65 They also said many other things to make fun of him.
